The show closed with all three artists back on stage, joined by Harerra on harp, for a rousing “Catfish Blues,” first recording in 1941 by Robert Petway. The True Blues trio intends to donate a portion of any profits from the tour, CD and DVD to “a blues-related charity.”
The blues is in good hands, folks, the blues is in good hands.
In many ways, this is an eclectic album. There are songs that are throwbacks to twangy country, and others that are slow, beautiful blues.
At the end of the day Rankin really just wants for Jazzbones what most of the other businesses that are being targeted by Yelp want, to be removed from their site. Unfortunately, Yelp does not allow for businesses to be removed and therein lies the big problem, being included on a website the businesses want no part of.
