“Of the 14 performers we’re showcasing this year, seven have competed at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis and four have been nominated for Blues Music Awards,” said Tall City Blues Fest Talent Buyer Ronn Reeger. “It’s very exciting to be able to bring this kind of talent to West Texas.”
On Friday, gates will open at 5 PM, and the first performer will take the Cimarex Energy Main Stage at 5:30 PM. On Saturday, the gates will open at 1 PM with the first performer taking the Riley Geological Main Stage at 2 PM. On Saturday, a third stage, the Ford Community Jam Stage, will host 15-minute Community Jam sessions alternating between the Main Stage performances, making Saturday a triple-stage format.
