Robert Johnson_CROSS SPANISH_Delta HazeChicagoBlues.com is reporting that The Grammy Hall of Fame has inducted Robert Johnson’s seminal classic performance of “Sweet Home Chicago” as part of the 2014 inductee class, as announced by The Recording Academy.

One of 27 titles inducted, the song has long been a blues anthem. Johnson’s recording was released in 1937 on the Vocalion label, and was backed with “Walking Blues.”
