37th Taste of Chicago Almost Here

The 37th annual Taste of Chicago is almost here. This year’s event runs from Wednesday, July 5th through Sunday, July 9th in Grant Park. Taste, as it is known to local Chicagoans, is an adventure filled with chefs preparing amazing food and musicians giving exciting performances of their music as everyone enjoys that food.

Taste of Chicago is free and open to the public. Headlining performances at the Petrillo Music Shell are free admission for lawn seats. General seating tickets are $19 and for premium views right in front of the stage, ticketed pavilion seats are available $32 online.  Buy tickets here.

CELEBRITY CHEF DU JOUR

These ticketed events feature three-course meals prepared each night by a different Chicago chef. Take a seat within the decorated, air-conditioned dining pavilion and feast on innovative dishes from the city’s celebrated culinary community.

July 5: Chef Paul Fehribach

July 6: Chef Chico Vilchez + Music by DJ-X

July 7: Chef Oliver Poilevey

July 8: American Girl Café Brunch

July 9: Chefs Beverly Kim & Johnny Clark

2017 Concert Schedule

Local and national artists perform throughout Taste including Alessia Cara,  Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, The O’Jays, and more! Check the daily schedule here.

Location: Grant Park (between Lake Shore Drive, Monroe Street, Michigan Avenue and Balbo Drive)

Hours: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday-Friday; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday-Sunday

Tickets: Admission is free. General admission seating for performances at the Petrillo Music Shell range in price from $19 to $50 (lawn seating in Butler Field is free). Performances at the Bud Light Stage are free. Celebrity Chef du Jour presentations are $45 a ticket. Food and drink tickets are $10 for 14. (Ticket sales end at 8:30 p.m.)
