Sunday, October 18th, Isaiah Sharkey played two back-to-back shows, one sold out and other near capacity. Sharkey is a local Chicagoan but with an impressive resume as a guitar for hire, having toured and recorded with top artists including Patti LaBelle, John Mayer and Paul Simon.
Phil Solomonson is a photographer and reviewer for American Blues Scene, capturing live music with an eye for creativity, spontaneity, and original expression. Formerly based in Chicago, he now documents concerts and cultural events from Valencia, Spain. Though self-taught in the arts, Phil has honed his craft through observation, inspiration from the world around him, and mentorship from several cherished artists. A B.A. graduate with honors from Columbia College Chicago’s Arts Entertainment Media Management Program, he brings over ten years of arts management experience and more than 15 years in digital production and project management to his work.
