These terms apply when a video is submitted through the American Blues Scene video submission form.
Authority to submit
By submitting a video, you confirm that you are authorized to do so and that you can grant the permission described below. You also confirm that the necessary rights have been cleared for the video, performance, sound recording, musical composition, artwork, photographs, trademarks, and any other material included in the submission.
Permission you grant
I confirm that I am authorized to submit this video and grant American Blues Scene permission to publish, distribute, promote, and monetize it on its website, YouTube channel, social platforms, and other digital channels. I confirm that the necessary rights have been cleared for the video, performance, sound recording, music, artwork, and other included material. This permission is nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, and ongoing. All ownership remains with the respective rights holders.
This permission allows American Blues Scene to make reasonable technical and editorial adjustments, including formatting, trimming, captions, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, excerpts, and promotional clips. It does not transfer ownership to American Blues Scene.
Editorial review
Submission does not guarantee publication, promotion, monetization, or any particular publication date. American Blues Scene may accept, decline, edit, postpone, or remove a submission at its editorial discretion.
YouTube and third-party platforms
YouTube and other platforms may scan submitted material, apply Content ID claims, limit monetization, or remove content under their own rules. The submitter is responsible for the accuracy of the rights confirmation and for resolving claims involving material they supplied.
Privacy and contact
Submission details and the consent record are stored privately for editorial, rights-management, and recordkeeping purposes. Questions about a submission can be sent to info@americanbluesscene.com. See our privacy policy for more information.
