It’s a new year and the blues is, in effect, stronger than it’s ever been. Rich, vibrant festivals continue to bring fans yearly joy from one side of the globe to the other, and incredible musicians continue to tour to the many fascinating and soul-filled blues clubs all over. Inspired art and photography continue to give the music new voices and dimensions, and, thanks largely to the fans that have constantly supported their favorite genre, The American Blues Scene Magazine has experienced a landmark year.

Our print magazine, featuring Ana Popovic on it’s cover, was given away for free at dozens of blues festivals and venues across the country. Additionally, thousands of individual copies were given to people in dozens of countries! Our inaugural print edition was our gift to the fans that helped make it possible. The digital magazine, thanks to the loyal support of tens of thousands of dyed (blue) in the wool music fans, has reached uncharted new heights. Within days, we will be achieving great milestones in the barely more than three years of our existence: 1,000,000 visitors and 1,000 articles, as well as being on the verge of earning 100,000 organic, authentic, excited fans on Facebook without ever advertising our cause.

We’re breaking in the new year by sharing our most fun, exciting numbers with the fans that made them possible.
