deeffd6bMusic champion Jack White has made a six-figure donation to the National Blues Museum in St. Louis, which is scheduled to open later this year. White’s donation will fund the “Mix It Up” program at the museum, an interactive creative blues experience.

“Mix It Up” gives visitors creation and editing tools, which they can use to create and share new compositions. The museum, located in downtown Saint Louis just blocks from the city’s major stadiums, will feature exhibits about blues history and play host to educational programming.

The museum continues to seek additional funding to enhance technology, expand exhibits, deepen the impact of community and educational programs, and create accompanying curriculum.
