Travis Green - a little too late cvr

Austin, Texas native Travis Green released his latest self-produced album, A Little Too Late, on July 8, 2016, and it is sure to be an instant favorite with blues, country and rockabilly fans everywhere!

Not yet thirty years of age, Travis Green has the talent of a seasoned veteran.  Green is joined by Randy Bermudes thumping the bass, Jason Hansen keeping time on the skins, and Jim Pugh ticklin’ the ivories. Also on board are Nancy Wright, blowing our minds with her great sax lines, and phenomenal backing vocals are courtesy of Lisa Leuschner Andersen and Courtney Knott. The ten track album has a common thread of life and love, two subjects that instantly connect with the listener.

The title track opens the album, and is a fast paced country ballad about a romance that didn’t work out.  It is a tune that definitely will cure even the heaviest heart.  “The Only Love” is a beautiful ballad with riffs channeling an inner “Sittin’ On the Dock Of The Bay” that give it an Otis Redding vibe.  This is a song that will see numerous replays at summer cookouts, road trips or just relaxing at home.

“Keep You Off My Mind” is the intersection of blues, country, and rockabilly.  This song will put a bounce in anyone’s step, and keep folks dancing all night long. “Damage Done” is a number that has finger snapping written all over it!  The song is about reflecting on our past sins and how we cannot go back and change the wrongs we have done.  It speaks of second chances and redemption as the only way for closure and healing. It is a sad and haunting song with some ghostly guitar riffs that will send chills down the listener’s spine.

“Caroline” is the song for all of you who are fans of the sax and piano. Jim Pugh on keys, and Nancy Wright on sax light it up! “Don’t Forget” finishes out the album the same way it begins, with a good old fashioned blues that stirs up just the right mixture of country and rockabilly. It is about looking toward the future, but not forgetting the past as we move forward in life, remembering where we come from.

Travis Green is a rare talent in the music industry, wearing many hats that range from singer-songwriter, to conductor and musician. A Little Too Late will be a hit album, and deservedly so! Pick up a copy today.
