“All Night Long” is an acoustic slide-guitar-fueled, zydeco-inspired dance party. Erin Harpe wrote this rollicking, upbeat and playfully suggestive love song about husband Jim Countryman – who also provides ukulele bass and backing vocals on this track – while Erin keeps the beat with her foot percussion. The video shows Erin and Jim rocking on a stone wall, with lots of great closeup footage of her intricate slide guitar playing.

“All Night Long” is from Harpe’s upcoming album, Meet Me in the Middle, set for release on October 30th via Vizztone Label Group.

I chose this track to be the lead single on my new acoustic album because it’s so much fun, with the slide guitar and gang-vocal chorus: “all night long.” Feel free to sing along! My co-star Jim Countryman is on ukulele bass and vocals, and just might be the song’s subject. The whole album, recorded in our Boston apartment during quarantine, is very intimate and live, so we went for a similar feel for the music video, which we recorded in Franklin Park, right in our back yard. – Erin Harpe
