Three classic rock acts will share the stage at Mesa Amphitheatre in Mesa, Arizona, on Thursday, October 22, when 38 Special’s Milestone 50 Year Legacy Tour makes a stop with special guests Jefferson Starship and Foghat.
For 38 Special, the milestone celebrates five decades of Southern rock, radio-ready hooks and guitar-driven anthems. Formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1974, the band built its following with songs that bridged Southern rock and arena rock, including “Hold On Loosely,” “Caught Up in You” and “Rockin’ Into the Night.”
Jefferson Starship brings another chapter of American rock history to the bill. With roots in the San Francisco psychedelic rock scene, the group evolved through multiple eras while maintaining a catalog that includes “Jane,” “Find Your Way Back” and “Miracles.”
Foghat rounds out the lineup with its blues-infused, boogie-driven rock. The British-American band has kept its signature sound alive for more than five decades, with “Slow Ride,” “Fool for the City” and “Drivin’ Wheel” remaining staples of its live shows.
Together, the three bands offer an evening spanning Southern rock, arena-ready melodies and hard-driving blues rock, with a catalog of familiar songs that helped define classic rock radio.
38 Special, Jefferson Starship and Foghat perform Thursday, October 22, 2026, at Mesa Amphitheatre, 263 N. Center Street, Mesa, Arizona. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with the show scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
