One of Chicago’s favorites, JC Brooks inspired City Winery Chicago‘s socially distanced audience for two well-attended Saturday shows. Always engaging the crowd, his vocal and dynamic range is spine-tingling. Scaled down to a tight trio of JC, Jeremy Tromburg (keyboard) and Kevin Marks (drums), they produce a big sound.
Phil Solomonson is a photographer and reviewer for American Blues Scene, capturing live music with an eye for creativity, spontaneity, and original expression. Formerly based in Chicago, he now documents concerts and cultural events from Valencia, Spain. Though self-taught in the arts, Phil has honed his craft through observation, inspiration from the world around him, and mentorship from several cherished artists. A B.A. graduate with honors from Columbia College Chicago’s Arts Entertainment Media Management Program, he brings over ten years of arts management experience and more than 15 years in digital production and project management to his work.
