When GRAMMY-winning mastering engineer Alan Douches recently unearthed a surround sound recording from a remarkable 2011 night at The Falcon in Marlboro, New York, The Alexis P. Suter Band immediately recognized its weight. Captured on an evening when Garth Hudson joined the band onstage, the performance now resurfaces as both a musical document and a tribute.

Arriving on the heels of their acclaimed summer 2025 release, Just Stay High, the recording offers a window into a moment when history, chemistry, and live improvisation converged. Released a year after Hudson’s passing, the Dolby Atmos mix honors both his legacy and the communal power of live music.
