This may very well be the coolest video we’ve found in some time. LEGENDARY Buddy Guy playing “The Sky is Cryin'” with Derek Trucks, Warren Haynes, Gregg Allman, and a whole stack of amps as a guest with the Allman Brothers Band. If you care to further your Allman-based pleasure, sister site the American Rock Scene recently reviewed Warren Hayne’s recent Man in Motion, which was easily one of the best albums of the year.

This is a unique and awesome performance and video. But to say the least, when Derek hits the solo, even Buddy Guy can’t wait to hear it. For Derek to start a solo so unassuming and then take the piece to a new level and a different space is his gift. It is once again present in this piece…Enjoy the ride!
