BG: Blues and Music News, from the prolific blues guitar master Buddy Guy, and American Blues Scene Magazine, the recognized leader in blues music news, have come together to bring the colorful and vibrant community of blues fans and lovers more powerful blues content.

“As life long Buddy Guy fans,” says Glen Casebeer, Marketing & Social Media Director for American Blues Scene Magazine, “we’re extremely honored to play a roll in bringing Chicago Blues and blues in general to a much broader audience.”

“Blues isn’t just music, it’s a community,” says Anthony Moser, Editor of BG: Blues and Music News. “We think sharing stories with American Blues Scene will help us enrich and expand that community, and we’re looking forward to it.”

The primary focus of this exciting new partnership will be the original content that is produced by the respective entities. Blues fans will have new and exciting, up-close and personal video interviews with some of the greatest contemporary blues musicians, and will have the chance to immerse themselves in new blues words from the popular weekly “Language of the Blues” column, based on rocker Debra Devi’s popular book of the same name.

American Blues Scene Magazine will soon be making interviews from Buddy Guy’s Legends, the famous Chicago blues club, available to a diverse audience of blues fans on the American Blues Scene Network. Broadcast worldwide via Gigity.TV, the original and exciting video series will be available on the ABS website. BG: Blues and Music News will be giving fans of the Chicago legend previously exclusive content from American Blues Scene Magazine.
