abs-best-of - GA & BGOnce again, for the month of December the American Blues Scene is going to take you on a trip down memory lane and we’ll be digging out some of our favorite pieces that have previously appeared in our publication. We’ve experienced a year of phenomenal growth(so far) with our print magazine hitting the streets and the amount of loyal fans we have across all of our social media networks ranging now up in the six figures.

With so many new blues lovers it’s quite probable that many have not had the opportunity to see the fantastic content we work so hard to put out on the website and in the print version. Also, the internet can be quite noisy a lot of the time and even our long term readers can miss things. That’s totally understandable, as we’ve put out around a thousand articles, so we just want to make sure that our readers, old and new have the the opportunity to enjoy all of the great content that the American Blues Scene is known for.

We are calling this series the Best of American Blues Scene and although the main focus is on content you might have missed from the previous year or so, we’ll be going back in time even further.

Two of our biggest moments in ABS history came in the last half of 2013. Gregg Allman invited us to his Georgia home for an exclusive one on one interview and we also got the incredible opportunity to chat with the one and only Buddy Guy.
