For 50 years Hot Tuna, Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady, has brought a wealth of emotions to their music through deep perceptions and tremendous talent. Kaukonen and Casady are always injecting fresh energy into their sound with constant improvisation taking their musical horizons further.  Come out for the music and the joy of life – Hot Tuna’s on tour!

50 Years Electric Hot Tuna

It has been an amazing 50 years, a remarkable journey for Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady. Their band, Hot Tuna, invokes as many different moods and reactions as there are Hot Tuna fans — millions of them. To some, Hot Tuna is a reminder of some wild and happy times. To others, that name will forever be linked to their own discovery of the power and depth of American blues and roots music. To newer fans, Hot Tuna is a tight, masterful act who defines the cutting edge of great music. For five decades, Hot Tuna has played, toured, and recorded some of the most memorable original electric rock and soulful acoustic music over the last 50 years!

When Electric, Hot Tuna includes three-time Grammy winner, drummer and percussionist Justin Guip. He is all about the groove, the heartbeat at the essence of all great music.  Justin lets the song — delicate or driving as the music needs — dictate his drumming style providing the perfect dynamic for Hot Tuna to electrify their trademark sound.

To celebrate the music, which is the sound track of many of our lives, Hot Tuna has put together a tour of fun! Fun for Hot Tuna playing with their friends and fun for their audiences to experience.
