Share Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Pinterest Email Lupo tells us about his yearly March 24th gig at FitzGerald’s in Berwyn, IL: I released my first record, Into the Sun, last year in March. We had the record release party at FitzGerald’s, and to my surprise it sold out. After speaking to a few of my friends immediately following that night, we thought it might be a good idea to put one show a year of mine in the calendar every spring at FitzGerald’s before everyone starts getting busy with their lives in the summertime. It is a show that supporters of my music can count on going to once a year to hopefully have some fun, see familiar faces, make new friends, hear new material that I have been working on, and see special guests perform with the band as well. Photo courtesy of Brian Lupo I admittedly can be lazy promoting my music and doing all the things that don’t involve physically playing that you need to do in order to have a career in the music business. I have another album or two already written, so the thought is if I have one show a year that I promote heavily this will hold me accountable to keep moving my music forward. For example, I released a physical record last year in March, but it took me until the end of February this year to make it available on all of the online platforms. The reality is I probably wouldn’t have taken steps to do this if I didn’t have this Stepping Into The Spring show coming up. So, this is the first inaugural event. Hopefully if it is well attended, I can keep it going every year moving forward. That is the goal. We had our wedding reception at FitzGerald’s, I saw the Cubs win the World Series at FitzGerald’s, and my first album was released at FitzGerald’s. I love the venue, and couldn’t think of a better place to have the party. I would like to thank Will Duncan for the opportunity to bring my friends together and share the music that I’ve been working on. I hope to see you March 24th at FitzGerald’s in Berwyn, IL.Brian Lupo Tickets Brian Lupo
