The 2011 Grammy Awards have come and (almost) gone, at the time of this writing. We’re thrilled to congratulate Pinetop Perkins and Willie ‘Big Eyes’ Smith and Buddy Guy for their respective wins! This is Buddy Guy’s 6th Grammy! Pinetop Perkins, who is a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient,  now has two Grammy awards! Both albums, and all albums to be nominated, are outstanding works of blues art. See American Blues Scene’s review of Buddy Guy’s album Living Proof here, published last December.
