Jim O’Neal, the legendary blues researcher and founder of Living Blues Magazine is currently undergoing cancer therapy. He does not have insurance. A fundraising event is planned to be held at Buddy Guy’s Legends in Chicago by Memphis Gold Radio and Kenny Neal, along with Lonnie Brooks and others. Another event is planned to be held at Knuckleheads in Kansas City, Missouri. Details of these events will be forthcoming.
