We recently sat down with Richard King, owner of the prestigious Columbia, Missouri-based live music venue, The Blue Note to talk about this weekend’s Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival, it’s killer lineup, and the great work that the event is doing for the Blues in the Schools.
We also got a chance to talk to King about his long history of bringing in some of the most respected blues acts in the world, including John Lee Hooker and Albert Collins — at the behest of a young Bill Wax!
