Master guitarist, Gary Hoey has announced the release of his new album, Dust & Bones, on July 29th, 2016 via the Provogue/Mascot Label Group. Pre-orders, on vinyl, CD, and digital download are available now, and beginning tomorrow, July 1st, when you buy, you’ll receive the instant gratification track, “Boxcar Blues.”

In association with the pre-order release, American Blues Scene is exclusively premiering this killer, opening track one day early! Check it out below!

Taking full of advantage of a power trio lineup with bassist, AJ Pappas, and drummer Matt Scurfield, Hoey returns to his blues roots on this, his 20th career album. “Boxcar Blues” combines the finest of the three musicians on a track best described as “Robert Johnson meets Led Zeppelin.” A scorching lead, compelling vocals, and resonator guitar, plugged into a half-stack, blend to make this an instant classic. Turn this one up loud, and then break off the knob.
