Taste-of-Chicago

Chicago, IL – The 36th annual Taste of Chicago opens today in Grant Park, thrilling guests through Sunday, July 10th. This year’s lineup will offer an abundance of amazing performers including The Isley Brothers, Billy Idol, and The Decemberists among others.

Headliners performing at Petrillo Music Shell Stage for the 2016 outdoor food festival are as follows:

For those desiring a different food experience, there will be 17 Food Trucks this year where guests can sample varying cuisines. Food Truck hours are:  July 6-8: 11 am – 9 pm, July 9 & 10: 10 am – 9 pm. Ticket sales end at 8:30 pm. Food and beverage tickets are sold in strips of 12 tickets for $8.50 (includes $2.50 charge for Taste amenities). “Taste Of” portions priced at $2.50 or less. Food and beverage ticket strips will be available for purchase at the festival. Naturally, there will be “Pop Up” restaurants as well. Check the Complete Daily Schedule to see what’s what each day.

ChicagoMade Marketplace is yet another amazing aspect of the Taste of Chicago, showcasing locally-made, hand-crafted clothing, accessories, jewelry, beauty products, posters, artwork and more from Chicago’s own. Hours are:

Saturday & Sunday: 10 am-9 pm
