As we have already told you and you probably heard by now, The WIRED! band has won the highly prestigious International Blues Challenge this past weekend.

The band won a huge prize package, including nearly a dozen headlining positions in prominent blues festivals across the country.

WIRED! represented the Washington Blues Society in the challenge.

Each blues association, which number into the hundreds, hosts a local competition to determine one band and one solo/duo act to send to Memphis to represent their organization in the International Blues Challenge (IBC), which takes place on the legendary Beale Street.

Casebeer's first introduction to music was Elvis. Like many of his generation he grew up loving roots based sounds and his first introduction to the blues was through the bands that are considered classic rock now. He has a deep love of the blues, loves to talk about it, loves to write about it and loves to watch it live on stage, with or without.a camera in his hand.
