New York City blues fans get ready! Heritage Blues Orchestra’s Bill Sims Jr, Junior Mack, and Matthew Skoller are playing The Reds, Whites & Blues Experience on May 24th at the City Winery.

Matthew Skoller is the recipient of a 2012 Blues Music Award for the Grammy nominated Chicago Blues: A Living History, which has been hailed as one of the greatest contemporary Chicago Blues albums, featuring Billy Boy Arnold, John Primer, Lurrie Bell, Billy Branch, Carlos Johnson, and many more.

Bill Sims Jr is part of the exciting and endearing Heritage Blues Orchestra from New York City. Sims, like his band, is a celebrated practitioner of the traditional styles. A multi-instrumentalist who’s abilities include piano, guitar, banjo, harmonica, and vocals, Sims is quickly gaining a national reputation for his unique-yet-traditional approach to the blues.

The City Winery in New York City is a vibrant, interactive space where patrons can make their own wine, as well as dine and enjoy fine spirits and wines while enjoying the best in music.
