For those craving more Laid Back Festival dates, as announced this morning, the festival returns to Atlanta on Saturday, October 14th. The event will take place at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park.

The festival is a traveling celebration of music and food, and was co-founded by the Gregg Allman, Michael Lehman (Gregg’s manager), and Live Nation in 2015. As we all know, Gregg passed this May leaving us with an incredible body of work to sustain us.

This year’s Atlanta date will be headlined by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Other artists include the festival’s opening act, Jaimoe and his Jasssz Band, followed by Bishop Gunn.

The event will also showcase a set by the Gregg Allman Band fronted by Gregg’s son Devon Allman. As many remember, Laid Back Atlanta 2016 was Gregg Allman’s last concert performance. Devon Allman and the band will perform Gregg Allman’s last studio album, Southern Blood, in its entirety.

Pre-sale tickets go onsale Wednesday, August 23rd at 10:00 am est.
Public on-sale is Thursday, August 24th at 10:00 am est.
