Blues Music AwardsThe Blues Foundation is presenting the 32nd Blues Music Awards tomorrow, May 5, 2011, at the Cook Convention Center in Memphis, TN. Artists, blues fans, and industry leaders from across the globe are already converging around Memphis, Tennessee for the spectacular event, which we understand will be televised this year! The Blues Foundation has graciously provided samples for every category this year at their website, Blues.org. If you’re not a member of the Blues Foundation, what are you waiting for! The not-for-profit foundation provides a vast array of services, aide, exposure, and support for blues music everywhere, and any blues fan worth their weight in salt should be a member! A number of the artists, albums, and talent on this year’s highly regarded list has been covered, interviewed, and reviewed by the American Blues Scene this past year, including blues piano diva Eden Brent, the ever-talented Nick Moss, Charlie Musselwhite, Buddy Guy, Dr. John, James Cotton and many more! Competition is exceptionally fierce this year, and we wish good blues mojo to all who have rightfully earned their nominations.
