Memphis, TN – We want Your Name in the Stax Museum of American Soul Music!

As many of you know, next year is the 50th anniversary of the famed 1967 Stax/Volt European Tour.

In February 2017, the Stax Museum will open a brand new exhibition celebrating the landmark tour across Europe. We have seen the film, heard the music, and read the stories; it is not an overstatement say that this tour changed the world in so many ways.

There are some of you out there who attended the concerts, maybe a few more that took photos, kept tickets and/or posters, have souvenirs, or cut newspaper clippings.

We are now asking for your help to make this exhibition as special as possible.

If you have anything you would be willing share with us, we would love to talk with you about it. While we would love the real artifacts, we realize how much you treasure those so we are happy to work with you to have them scanned and sent electronically.

We will fully credit you in the exhibition and, if you are able to make it over to the see the exhibit, we will give you a free VIP tour of the Stax Museum, including a rare, behind-the-scenes peek into our treasure trove of archives not on permanent exhibit in the museum.

If you can help with memorabilia from the tour for this exhibition, please send a note to [email protected].  We look very forward to hearing from you and hopefully meeting you in person!
