“In Performance at the White House”, which aired last night on PBS, celebrated Memphis Soul in grand fashion. An hour long concert paying tribute to some of the greatest music ever committed to disc, it had it’s ups and downs.

The album “Get Up” is expected to be released on Jan, 29, 2013. This will be their first album project together and both musicians say they’ve been looking forward to this ever since they recorded with John Lee Hooker in 1997.
