Casebeer's first introduction to music was Elvis. Like many of his generation he grew up loving roots based sounds and his first introduction to the blues was through the bands that are considered classic rock now. He has a deep love of the blues, loves to talk about it, loves to write about it and loves to watch it live on stage, with or without.a camera in his hand.

For the month of December the American Blues Scene is going to take a trip down memory lane and we’ll be digging out some of our favorite pieces that have previously appeared in our publication. Memphis honored one of the finest musicians to ever play in that music mecca with a musical parade/funeral march down the iconic Beale Street. Saxophones, drums and trumpets were played by musicians as they walked, marched and danced, paying homage to the late Donald “Duck” Dunn.
