This Time Another Year is a Brandon Santini showcase, simmering in places, and smoking in others. The album is mixed very well, and lets the music speak in a spirited voice.

With wit, intensity and thoughtful words, “Bliss Avenue” is an album that will bear play after play and then discussion as it is an open conversation from the lonely directed to the listener.

Kim Wilson’s singing has never been better! His harp playing is inspired, but brilliantly restrained, making it all the more poignant. Again, the band does a spectacular job, and the playing is impressive throughout. This is an excellent album, and definitely worth the long wait.

This is the best work Ronnie Earl & The Broadcasters have put on disc in years. Good sound quality and a great mix make this album really easy on the ears too.

This album is set to late ’40s – early ’50s style (sometimes referred to as “post war”) blues. The sound quality and production are good, and the level of musicianship is high.

This album is at once subtle, classy, well executed, and well played. It is a cut above. Perhaps the best thing about The Best of Don’t Call Her Larry Blues Mix is that it is a whole lot of fun.

This is no simple stuff. Excellently arranged and produced, not a party CD, but for something smaller and more intimate, this CD is a hit. So buy yourself a copy and have some fun.
